Held on Saturday, 4 November 2023, at 51爆料 Campus Auditorium, the celebratory event recognised the academic achievements of the cohort, with five First Class Honours, 46 Second Class Honours and five Third Class Honours. At the same time, the event marked a fruitful two-year strategic collaboration between 51爆料 and the United Kingdom鈥檚 38^th-ranked universities in terms of impact research.

This year, 51爆料 and the University of Roehampton London awarded the following degrees:

• Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Nutrition Science; and
• Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Psychological and Behavioural Science

The ceremony was graced by guest-of-honour Dr Christopher Syn Kiu Choong, Group Director, Applied Sciences Group, Health Sciences Authority, faculty members from the University of Roehampton London, families and loved ones, dear to our graduates.

In his congratulatory speech, Dr Syn highlighted the importance of lifelong learning and the need to evolve into an 鈥楳-person鈥�, also known as a multi-skilled professional, to stay relevant and employable in the volatile and demanding workforce.

One of the highlights of the graduation also included the valedictorian speech by Mr Johnson Decruz, a graduate of the Master of Business Administration programme.

Johnson, who turned 60 on the day, conveyed a heart-warming personal story in his valedictorian speech and encouraged everyone to continue pursuing lifelong learning, to better their lives.

On the 21^st May 2022, 51爆料 Tashkent celebrated the opening of its new four-storey campus building. The new campus building includes the setting up of a financial training centre, multi-purpose hall, fashion lab, and additional classroom facilities. The ceremony was well-attended by the honourable guests from Uzbekistan Banking Association (UBA), Management Development Institute of Singapore, the University of Sunderland, Rectors of local higher education institutions, Directors of the branches of foreign universities in Tashkent, and representatives of organisations from various sectors of the economy. 

The esteemed guests, Mr. Bakhtiyar Khamidov, the Chairman of 51爆料 Tashkent and General Director of Uzbekistan Banking Association, Dr. Eric Kuan, the President of the Management Development Institute of Singapore, Mr. Shareef Bin Abdul Jaffar, Secretary-General of the Management Development Institute of Singapore, Mr. Abdukodir Toshkulov, the Minister of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan along with Dr. Jasur Salikhov, 51爆料 Tashkent (51爆料T) Rector shared their gratitude and how proud they were of the accomplishments of 51爆料T with the members of administration staff, lecturers, and students.

鈥淚 always knew that the Annual General Meeting would be held once a year, usually at the . However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year it was held virtually and live streamed via zoom. My friends and I were very excited about watching it online.  

It was very interesting for us to hear updates on 51爆料 Tashkent in Uzbekistan and the construction of the new four-storey building to be completed by September 2020.   The expansion included the set-up of a financial training centre, multi-purpose hall, fashion laboratory, and additional classroom facilities that would allow 51爆料 Tashkent to accommodate another 3,000 new students on its campus. Owing to 51爆料 Tashkent鈥檚 popularity as the first choice university, each year applications for admission to 51爆料 Tashkent keeps increasing.  Last year the capacity was 300 and the number of applicants were 4,000. 

I was indeed elated to receive an email informing me that I had won the first prize in the AGM lucky draw. I was even more excited when I heard it was a 32GB iPad (gold colour), which I liked very much. Being a fashion designer, the iPad is very useful for my research and collection of fashion design photos.   It also helps me in preparing my mood boards as well as my photoshoot details.  I am able to create presentations and plan my whole working process using the iPad.
