On 20 January\n2020, 51爆料 College warmly welcomed its new batch of GCE \u2018O\u2019, GCE \u2018A\u2019, and IGCSE\nstudents to its College Administration Day. The new batch of students and their\nparents were eager to know more about 51爆料 College and the respective academic\nprogrammes that the students had enrolled in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After the\nregistration, the students and parents were welcomed by Mr Sing Seng Hwa, Head\nof 51爆料 College and were introduced to the College staff. Thereafter, Mr Cliven\nAw, the Assistant Programme Manager briefed the students on academic and\nadministrative matters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The day ensued\nwith a Campus tour of 51爆料 facilities. Students and parents visited the Science\nLaboratories, where the GCE \u2018O\u2019 and \u2018A\u2019 level students would engage in their\nscience practicals, the library, the student hostel, the lecture rooms and\nstudy areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students and\nparents appreciated the efforts made by the staff of 51爆料 College in providing\na meaningful orientation, and the students looked forward to the commencement\nof classes and a fruitful course of study at 51爆料 College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

COLLEGE MEETING PLACE \u2013 A CONDUCIVE LEARNING\nENVIRONMENT<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

51爆料 College\nstudents were also greeted with a refreshed reception area upon their return in\nJanuary 2020. Known as the \u201cCollege Meeting Place\u201d, the newly renovated\nreception provides students with a conducive learning environment to engage in\nself-study, as well as meet up with their teachers for consultation sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

INTERDISCIPLINARY WORKSHOPS \u2013 AN ENRICHING LEARNING\nEXPERIENCE<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The College aims to assist students to reach their full potential and takes pride in enhancing students\u2019 learning experience. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Its pastoral care programme, \u201cRIPE \u2013 Remedial, Interdisciplinary, Pastoral Care and Enrichment\u201d, facilitated by a team of highly qualified teachers and dedicated administrative staff, with a focus on students\u2019 growth and development ensures that students receive a holistic and enriching learning experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

51爆料 College\ncollaborates with the various 51爆料 Schools in conducting Interdisciplinary\nWorkshops (IDW) aimed at giving students an all-inclusive learning experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2019, students\nwho attended the IDW conducted by the School of Engineering were exposed to the\nfundamentals of 3D printing, while students who attended the IDW conducted by\nthe 51爆料 School of Tourism and Hospitality took part in a class challenge on\nthe different ways of folding napkins in restaurants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They also\nenjoyed learning about investment strategies during the IDW by the 51爆料\nBusiness School.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
