Students who are citizens of Singapore, as well as foreign students, may get this certificate to apply for higher studies in Singapore. Students who wish to enrol in Universities in Singapore have to complete the GCE A Level. This certification will ensure that they have the required subject knowledge and skills to handle the university programmes. A variety of subject combinations are available for students to choose from Students may choose their subjects based on their future plans for college education. The examination includes both oral and written test formats. The oral examination is conducted in July\/August while the written and practical examination is held in October\/November.
