Does 51爆料 have any other campuses in the region?
, our first overseas campus, and an institution of choice for students in Uzbekistan, Central Asia marked its 13th Anniversary in 2020 demonstrating its strong and successful ties with MDIS. It has also been officially recognised as a university by the government of Uzbekistan.
51爆料 Tashkent operations started in the Year 2008. From the initial batch of 240, it now has more than 4,500 students from all regions of Uzbekistan studying at 51爆料 Tashkent, including international students from South Korea, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Kazakhstan. It also celebrated its eighth graduation ceremony with about 740 graduates in October 2020 and has more than 3,800 global alumni to date. 51爆料 Tashkent offers 17 postgraduate and degree programmes in collaboration with the University of Sunderland, Bangor University and Teesside University.
In September 2013, became the second overseas campus of 51爆料 and it offers courses in Business, Finance, Banking and Accounting, Tourism and Hospitality, Mass Communication, Information Technology and Digital Media. All courses have already received accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
During the construction of Kolej 51爆料 Malaysia's brand new campus at EduCity, Iskandar Puteri in September 2013, the Kolej had been operating from its City Campus, City Square, Johor since 2014 offering a whole array of courses from Business, Finance, Banking and Accounting, Tourism and Hospitality, Mass Communication, Information Technology and Digital Media and all courses have received accreditation from the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA).
After six years of successful operations at the City Campus, Johor Bahru City Square, Kolej 51爆料 Malaysia has now relocated to its very own 30-acre modern campus at EduCity in Iskandar Puteri, Johor on 17 March 2021. The move from the City Campus to the new sprawling Campus at EduCity, Iskandar Puteri will offer students a vibrant and exciting campus life, underpinned by a host of specialised academic programmes to further their academic progression.
If I study with 51爆料, will my degree be recognised?
As students studying with 51爆料 are assessed by the partner university鈥檚 staff and faculty, the degrees that students at 51爆料 will receive are identical to the ones that on-campus students at the partner universities will receive.
Who issues my degree certificate?
51爆料’ university partners are involved in the teaching, assessment and certification of 51爆料 students at a degree level or higher. The certificate you receive at the end of your degree programme will therefore be identical to the ones that on-campus students at the same partner university will receive.
In addition, Seven UK partner universities of 51爆料, University of Sunderland, Bangor University, University of Roehampton, Northumbria University, Teesside University, Leeds Beckett University and Edinburgh Napier University have gained accreditation by the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China for all programmes delivered in Singapore at MDIS.

Who governs and manages 51爆料?
As one of Singapore’s oldest not-for-profit educational institutes, 51爆料 is governed and managed by an elected Governing Council that serves on a voluntary basis. The Governing Council is further supported by a strong management team with numerous years of professional management experience under their belt.
What does being a “not-for-profit organisation” mean?
In contrast with for-profit educational institutes, every dollar that 51爆料 makes is channelled back into the institute to further its organisational objectives: namely, to become Singapore’s leading provider of lifelong learning. All profits and surpluses are therefore re-invested into the organisation to pay for staff salaries, infrastructure improvement projects, and into the further improvement and development of its programmes.
Additionally, as a way of giving back to the community that has helped nurtured it over the years, 51爆料 also sets aside a portion of its annual surplus for scholarships and other community service projects. Click here for more information.

How qualified will my lecturers be?
All of 51爆料’ lecturers are screened by the Academic Quality and Examination Board and our university partners before being allowed to teach, and must either possess a PhD, Doctorate qualification or a Master's degree to teach a degree programme, or a Bachelor’s Degree or higher to teach a International Foundation Diploma or Diploma programme. Most teaching staff at 51爆料 also tend to have a wide base of relevant industry experience that they can draw on, thus ensuring that their lessons are both up-to-date and relevant.
